It's about the music, man. What they do in their own time is, like whatever...

For real. I'm not particularly fond (read: don't approve) of that lifestyle myself, but it's all about live and let live.

After all, I still rock out to Queen all the time, and Freddie Mercury pretty much blew the doors off the closet.

Hmmm... Sounds like you have some latent tendencies...

Like Zombre said, what they do with their own time...

The only way it would bother me is if I was seeing it. And the only way I would see it, would be if I imagined it. And the only way I would imagine it, would be if I had some latent tendency toward it. And if I had some kind of tendency toward it, I'd just kill myself instead of posting about it here.

Life's too short to be "anti" anything Turn your negatives into positives and do something with it!

I can't think of any gay guitar players of any note. The guys that were mentioned previously are not guitar players but frontmen.

And that's almost to be expected of frontmen, lol. :)

I still think Freddie Mercury (RIP) and Rob Halford are great singers. It doesn't bother me at all that they were, and are gay.

I'm glad I'm not gay. Men are pretty gross.

look at it from their perspective. it can be very difficult to have feelings for someone else and have society to consider it "wrong" or "sick", especially if the mainstream media is always watching over your shoulder

people don't wake up in the morning and decide to be gay or not, it doesn't work that way

no one is asking you to like it. just have some respect, and realize that they're just like you but with a different preference

If I found out that my favorite musician was a mad fanny-bandit, I could still live with myself, I just wouldn't see him the same way again. It would be a little traumatic to me, but I'd learn to deal with it.

I don't have a problem with gay people for what they do in the privacy of their own home. I think they should be given equal consideration as far as rights and inheritance and all that goes. However, I do have a problem when they get political and try to teach my kids that they should embrace the gay lifestyle. I will tolerate them but I will not be bullied into accepting what they do as "good" or "normal".
I also have a problem with the gay people that wear it on their sleeve with their rainbows and flamboyant appearance. All this "Gay and Proud" paraphernalia is annoying. I don't go around celbrating my heterosexuality.

You're going to love my new bad name! I can't give it away until the new record comes out but it takes all of this conversation and puts into three words...
