Its taking your life into your own hands to go out here in anything that even remotely looks like a cops uniform. This was an authentic SWAT style uniform and some of the looks I got where kinda worrying, especially considering the place I was in for the party was one of the most notorious IRA strongholds in the whole of Northern Ireland. Its like going to a K.K.K meeting dressed as Morgan Freeman!!!

Man it was scary, but hell I'm up for anything even if it puts me at risk. It was a good night though despite the wrecked nerves hahaha

Looks like it was a fun time for all, as long as you got there in one piece.

(You're not addicted to the adrenaline?) ;-)

Haha, I did cuff her during the party Steve.......some guy said " Brilliant idea, saves chat up lines huh?"

Turns out she was innocent though so in true police fashion I beat her senseless and threw her out. KIDDING!!!!!!!!!

At least it's better than the uniforms I saw recently. I think the writing is in Cyrillic, so it is probably National Order of Military Officers

How can one join the HOMO?

Is there an entrance examination? If so is there a back-door way to get in as competition may be tight and I dont want to get left behind and sorry I didnt get in there.

I went dressed as a Zombie, with my wife, in her usual Goth atire, and my daughter, age 11, with her first little boy friend. And I do mean little. This kid is almost 6 inches shorter than my daughter. But we took the kids to a Monster Ball. They had 5 bands playing. The first guys to get up there were really good. The guy that sang has an amazing voice. He went from singing to growling without missing a note, and back again. They were from Hattiesburg, MS. Great bunch of guys. I bought their CD, for $5, and they signed it. You guys should check them out. The next band sucked monkey balls, and I do mean monkey balls. Their timing was off, their vocals were off, treble was turned way to high on their amps, so it was just shrill, heavily distorted mishmash of shit. The bass player was trying to be Marilyn Manson. Don't get me wrong, a good stage show is cool, but if you're playing to a mixed audience of ages from 6-50 you might want to tone down the wacked ass bull shit, unless your music is decent, at least. Sorry, got off on a tangent. We went and took the kids home after that. But we had a good time, nonetheless. That was Friday.

Saturday; we handed out candy, smoked some cigs, and had a late night, if you know what I mean.

Sounds like a good night Papa! Its something thats really amiss here is events for all the family to enjoy at night. Usually the kids get taken out and about door to door trick or treating then the baby-sitter takes over to let the adults out to play. I think the night you had sounds way better though where the whole family can venture out to somewhere with entertainment and fun for all!! Seems a little more precious to me.

Its hard to be 'Band Number 2' when the opening act kicks ass dude. But if they suck then they suck!!!

Good to hear you had a great night out. And hang on to that CD, if the guys make a name for themselves you've got a valuable piece of plastic there bro.

Yeah, their guitar playing is not all that complicated, but they are unified with the outcome.
