Well, that is the rhetoric. We can either believe his record, or believe what he's telling us now. The two don't match, so we either choose to believe one or another. I believe his record.

I imagine if he becomes president, when he submit his 1st budget, he'll announce that Bush screwed things up far more than he knew, so he has no choice but to raise taxes on all of us. Only then will his rhetoric come into allignment with his record.

ACTUALLY, the fact is, his economic values are the DEFINITION of socialism. i dont feel like typing much so i am going to say EXACTLY what i want to say without beating around the bush. lets do it in list format:

A: if you vote for obama, the fact is, you are voting for a socialist based economc viewpoint. your american dream of making your business and making millions has now been disrupted.

B: if you agree with the socialist point of view, get the fuck out of my country you piece of shit.

C: obama will have to take an oath to support and defend the constitution (you know guys... that thing that defines why we are free?) unfortunately, dictator obama does not . in fact he votes to oppose it... all the fucking time.

Dear Satan,
Once again you have stated what no one else could say; have taken the unpopular stance that would surely not get you re-elected if "Crown Prince of Darkness" was not a title for life. I commend you for your brave stance on capital punishment (I vote shot) but question your judgement regarding the alternative of deportation (Obama would just let them back in, educate them in another language, and give them welfare, and healthcare). Thank you for Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, and all the other inspiration over the years. Enough with the gas prices already (I know your work when I see it). And please give my regards to that piece of shit Saddam Hussein. His boy Osama Bin Laden will be down shortly to keep that little cell comfey. Cheers and see you in Baghdad next summer.

But the fact is that the people are not satisfied with current state, it needs changes, but socialistic shit in America...I know it (not by myself, but was told) how was it in Yugoslavia when it was socialism...All stupid were satisfyed, while the people with ability culdnt get through because of that stupid system

Just keep believing that... Never known a single politician who didn't play the tax cut game. (Well, George W. senior said, "Read my lips... No new taxes." That's as close as it's gotten in my lifetime!) If you cut one place you need to raise in another. How it all ends up isn't usually anything like what they "promised" in the first place. My biggest beef with BOTH of these guys, is they're telling us what they will do, instead of telling us what they would LIKE to do. Neither of them can do a thing on their own.

Besides, there's a LOT more that screams socialism in Obama's platform than just the taxes. How about government controlled health care! If he gets that stupidity passed, MY healthcare is going down the tubes! As soon as the government gets involved the costs will increase and we'll all get less. Sure there are plenty of folks who don't have healthcare, but less of nothing is still nothing. Those of us who DO have health care have a reasonable concern that if the government gets involved, we'll just be paying more for less. This is historical fact.

Can't wait until this is over.

I disagree. When you lower taxes, and NOT increase spending, you actually stimulate the economy, such that increased commerce increases tax revenue. This has been proven, and is currently working quite well in Ireland.

You said it. Remember when during the debates, Obama said he supports offshore drilling? That'll be one of the first casualties of an Obama election.

Here's a video of Obama saying he'll bankrupt the coal industry. This would wreck the economy for sure. heating prices will skyrocket as well as thousands of coal related workers will become unenployed.

Basically, he flat out said, he would assess greenhouse gas fees such that doing this will bankrupt the coal industry. You can watch the whole video to get the context, but the statement begins at 2:16
