The trouble with batteries is that there never seems to be a power socket in sight when you want to charge them up. Thankfully, one manufacturer has developed a battery that should be slightly easier to recharge, thanks to its ability to run off a variety of liquids, including water and urine.

Would have been perfect for a former misc poster who was into... urine. That's right. And you thought the old g.com misc was just a bunch of weirdos.... Wait a minute... Apparently it was!

I remember that guy. I think he was from Denmark. He, was in all seriousness, advocated the virtues of drinking urine. And he kept pushing his song on everyone, it was about eating poo.

You have no idea if you weren't posting here a few years ago. It wasn't really all that friendly in a few forums and the infighting got to the extreme. Then the site was hacked, restored to a minimum, but everyone left for other pastures. The new management is great and, so far, have kept everything focused on guitar mostly. As it should be.

Yup! There were a few posters who went out of their way to piss everyone else off, just for it's own sake. And remember the misc resident white supremist?

I, for one, do not miss the misc days of old.

They are gonna be a big hit with campers and boyscouts, that sort of people...

Greg, you should sell those slogans to the japs and make some money. ;-D

I've heard about people drinking urine... Some homeopathetics (or indian, not sure which) genius decided it is good because you gain back lost minerals and stuff.
The truth is you're ruining your kidneys by making them remove the same stuff over and over and it accumulates, leading sooner to kidney stones. When your kidneys work ok, your urine contains USELESS stuff that have to be dumped out of the body. It's how excess water and ammonia get out, keeping your water balance in check and detoxifying ammonia from your blood. Stuff that is useful and should be kept in the body, is actually preserved. The kidneys have developed a highly sophisticated system for retaining minerals and nutrients that would otherwise be washed out with the garbage.

dc... That was Schlager. A complete moron. He may have called himself a "white supremiscist" but he was little more than trailer trash if he was even that good.

And BELIEVE ME. You DON'T EVER want a kindey stone. Enough pain to make you puke and you can't do shit about it. It's internal so you can't press on it. Drugs only take the "sharp" edge off of it. You will still writhe in pain and wish you never heard about kidney stones. Unlike having a baby, which is what the hospital staff compares it to, you have no idea when the pain will end. I had one last December that kept hitting me for almost 2 months. It wasn't constant, (maybe once a week or so,) but it sure was dreaded!

I'm glad it's gone and there aren't any other hanging around in my kidneys!
