Work Safe: I mean they are vegetables!

So, I imagine many of you also have a garden. Yesterday I pulled two carrots from my garden and discovered that there is something going on out there that I wasn't aware of.

They did have sucker roots that I cut off and when I cut them off the first carrot, here's what remained...

LOL.... Funny you should ask.... That's just a phallic vegetable. Yes, there is a second one that was in the ground right next to the first one. This one was completely unexpected...

It gets just a little more pornographic when you put them together.

The first one was pretty obvious, but it wasn't until I was cutting the sucker roots off the second one that the vision became clear. I imagine most of this perversion of thought is because the wife is out of town 5 days a week. As to why the carrots grew that way? I don't have a clue. They looked perfectly normal in the ground before they were pulled.

We thought of ebay. A neighbor suggested they were just probably trying to make baby carrots. I like the vitamin c-men comment. And, no, I cannot bring myself to eat the first one...

O_O

Maaan I almost fell off my chair!

Now, I don't have any experience growing veggetables in general and carrots in particular but the first one looks like a failed attempt at a triplet, or three carrots that merged as they grew... The other one... it could be anything, from plant "cancer" to something that inhibited its straight growth, like an infection or insect/worm that ate off the tip and forced it to grow sideways or even just a stone that was in the way...

It's still damm funny to see them together...
