Ok so I always pay my rent BEFORE it's due...by at least 5 days. I also pay enough extra to cover any sewage or garbage disposal or whatever fees.

So...I come home today to find a note on my door stating that they have put 2 previous notes on my door asking me to pay up. The grand total I owe? $3.36. Yeah. Three measley dollars. The note says, and I quote:

"We have tried to contact you on Jan 9 and Jan 16 and have received no response from you. (This is a lie...if it was notes, they were never on my door. If it was a phone call, my phone has no record of it. Either phone actually. No emails either). This note is to inform you that if you do not pay your outstanding balance of $3.36, you will receive a 24-hour eviction notice on Sat., Jan 26. (I received this note on Friday the 25th after having spent the past 4 weeks in San Antonio. I come back on weekends, which is how I know there was never a note)."

First off, I have NEVER been late on a payment with them. Second, it's 3 freakin' dollars!! Finally, they claim to have contacted me on the 9th and the 15th which is a total lie. They have my phone number I KNOW because they called me when a package was delivered to the front office for me. But they don't call when I allegedly owe them money!?

When I go in tomorrow morning, I am speaking to the manager. This is absolutely ridiculous.
