PS we [me and girlfriend] have decided to throw in half the money [each] and buy a 42 inch lcd tv with 1080i resolution. Instead of buying each other gifts. And ummm our justification is the studio's lounge needs a tv, so it can have the old 27" flat screen.

I want some new recording equipment to hook up to my computer. Mine got fried a few months back and I haven't had it in the budget for new stuff. I also want the Violet Burst Gibson Les Paul Goddess (AHHHH!!! It's the most beautiful guitar on the planet), and Home Depot gift cards. I bought a house, which explains the lack of cash for music stuff and the need for Home Depot.

I got my son his first axe...he's a toddler, so he looks way cute trying to play like mommie. I'll post pics after Christmas...he hasn't offically received the gift from Santa yet. :o)

you might save some cashola getting a 002 - they are the same thing but there's no word clock... and the 003 is fugly. I get my word clock in from my motu MTP A/V - it spits it out to my 2408 where it then goes to my sp/dif unit and everything is in sync. Just my $0.02 - oh but if you get it for xmas, it's not your money anyway!

I would also like Assassin's Creed for xbox 360 - and perhaps a new set of heads [top and bottom, front and back] for my DW drumset. 4 toms 2 snares and a kick sounds great until it comes time to pay for new heads.
