Hey everyone - for those of you that know me I have recently moved to Texas from NY - having to leave behind my band of about 10 years. I am beginning the process of putting together a new group and starting over - recording, shows, net working etc...etc... I thought it would be fun to diary the process from how to find band mates (I knew no one when I got here), through the singer audition process, fighting over a band name, behind the scenes recording, getting ready for a show. I am hoping it will be entertaining and maybe insightful. If you find this interesting check it out and let me know what you think. At some point I may look for some help making decisions - maybe what song to include on the CD, album art, stage costumes, image etc...

Lets see where it goes - if it gets really interesting the blog could always be published as a book. I would just some famous person to write the forward. :-)

I would say as things develop - I will probably have another post tomorrow and at least 1 next week. As auditions happen I will post my perceptions. I would hope there will be at least 1 post a week - more if warranted. I basically want to diary the process as seen by me. I will have photos and videos on some posts to try to keep people as involved as possible.
