Hey all, thought I'd drop a promotional message in here (since the forum exists!)

I write a blog called "The Fillmore Five Project" (subtitled: "...From Zero To Hero In A Year?")

I've played guitar on and off for many years, but never seriously. I decided in December that 2008 would be the year that I'd make the big push and try to get into a band, or at least perform solo in front of an audience. I use the blog as a motivational tool to keep me progressing, to post interesting (to me) musical ideas and to interact with other musicians of all levels and around the world.

I've given myself 12 short months to go 'from zero to hero'...
