I made this video while listening to the song on my iPod.

This was recorded like nearly half a year ago, I can do it 10 times better now.

There were some flat notes, some misses, the ending was a disaster...but check it out anyway. :)

Some quick detective work - JF is a 16-year-old from Bosnia Herzegovina and there is a Child in Time solo on YT from Lukat93.
You did a great job and even where you lost it near the end I thought the sweeps covered it really well. Here's a link to some old Purple backing tracks, including that one:

I don't know where my video disappeared, funny.

I don't even know how farlow got those facts, that was even funnier.

Thanks for those tracks, but the thing is I don't know really how to play with them. (which scales or modes to use, and why? but I'll ask some questions about this later)

At some point I had learned the main points of this solo. Gave up on it when I got the impression the tab was a more concise version than the original... But I might have been playing it wrong...

I don't remember there being any sweeps at the end of the original.

There are no sweeps, I just made a mistake and then decided to mess it up a bit.

JF, on your G.com profile it says you're 16, from Bosnia Herzegovina. There were about 8 Child in Time covers on YT. One was by Lukat93. Luka/Loukas, etc is a common Mediterranean/Slavic name and if you're 16 you were probably born in 1993. To top it off, you mentioned the iPod in your original post and Lukat93 is wearing an iPod. Elementary my dear Watson!

I'm not monitoring your PC or tapping your phones.(But then, if I was, obviously I would deny it, so maybe I am! Now I can't even remember whether you're on our list!)
