My sister got into the 48 Hour Film Project, a competition in which groups are assigned a film genre on a Friday night and have 48 hours to write, shoot, and produce a short film. She enlisted my help with the music. So she called me Friday night and said their film was to be a fantasy. Then the director came on the phone and said he wanted something vaguely Celtic- and Medieval-sounding. He gave the example of "Battle of Evermore" by Led Zeppelin. I needed to have it together in 24 hours.

The URL is a link to what I came up with. I capoed the guitar way up and turned up chorus on the recording to mimic the sound of a mandoln, then layered Medieval-ish vocals in Latin over that, since I feared my meager skills as a lead guitar player wouldn't be enough to fill the whole piece.

The top link on the page is the whole thing in wave format, probably the best for listening. The bottom link is the same thing in MP3 format. Everything in between is just individual tracks.
