i NEVER write this sort of stuff. it only took a bit of yesterday and a bit today.

basically i double tracked the bass, and distorted it. i used a crappy posh drum set, a couple accordion tracks, some sampled and pitch shifted glass clinks, and some vocal tracks.

all done using an mxl 990 on snare, 57 on kick, 991's overhead. bass direct with a distortion plugin. vocals 990. accordion 990.

it's quite squashed. but i really wanted that sound

Very interesting man, I dig it. I feel like the accordion was supposed to disturb me but it didn't. I imagine it as a soundtrack to some offbeat semi-twisted movie. I can't wait to get you on Rype.

lol reminds me of the stuff you hear on TV commercials for French stuff. Only this is what that would sound like, if Frank Zappa were involved in the recording of it.
