Looking for opinions on a couple of songs

Hey all,

long time. Got a couple of new tunes I wrote and have posted. If anyone would be willing to take a listen and provide any feedback on how to make the songs better, I would appreciate it.

Good commercial potential. Your biggest problem is that you're nobody - if Garth Brooks or Keith Urban released these 2 songs they'd be hits. (I'm not a Nashville fan, are those guys still alive?)

I think the lead guitar on Whiskey needs to be remixed or re-recorded - it really grated. The notes were fine it was just the sound. I'm no studio expert so I can't explain precisely why it grated.

I think both are good songs and the recordings sounded good to me. Superb performance on both.
The lead on Whiskey Flow sounds like most country guitar solo's that I'm familiar with but I don't listen to country much at all. I envision a telecaster piping out as much mids and treble as possible.

Farlow, I'm not sure I recognize what you are describing as grated but I trust you know what you are talking about.
