Here are some lyrics I wrote.
I'm trying to make them more socially relevant. They deal with the current situation in rural India right now (I'm Indian)
Please give me feedback ;)

In the Name of God

There's a blast in town
There're people running
There's madness in their eyes
They start gunning

They kill and they pillage
Fill their treasure hoard
They burn and they rape
In the name of God

Can you the children crying
Can you see their parents dying
All alone, resigned to their fate,
They grow up in a world of hate

[Bright light
Is shining
But the end of the night
Is so far away]

And as,
They suck us dry
Fanatics
Driven by lust and hate

They kill and they pillage
Fill their treasure hoard
They burn and they rape
In the name of God

why can't they just
find their own way
They laugh as they kill
Making us leap in and join the fray

Why can't they find their Stairway?
Leave us alone
And run away?

They kill and they pillage
Fill their treasure hoard
They burn and they rape
In the name of God
