The simplest answer is don't. The coolest stuff for me anyway comes out when I'm just messing around and not actually trying to do anything. :)

Looking from your guitars I am thinkin your a metal guy and there so many types of metal, but do you know some basic theory?, by all means YOU DONT HAVE to use it a guide line or preach it like the bible but for me its has been really useful and helped me understand music in general,and get ideas, hope thats helps a little more.
