I have an old Ibanez that I am dusting off. The neck is stamped as an RG 550. However the pickup configuration is odd for a 550. It is H S S. I am using the stock pick ups. The humbucker is a 2 conductor. 1 red wire, 1 white wire. and a braided ground. I also have a new 5 way switch. As strange as it sounds, I have never wired a 2 conductor humbucker. Only 4 wire. Does anyone have a diagram for this configuration? Thank you in advance.

I think white is hot, red is coil split and the bare is obviously ground. So essentially it is a 3-conductor humbucker, with the ground and shield using the same wire. My stock Ibanez humbuckers were that color code, except the bare was actually black.
