John5 used to be the guitarist in Marilyn Manson's band and has 3 solo albums, 'Vertigo', 'Songs for Sanity' and 'Devil Knows My Name' (his most recent), check out his site:

He now plays with Rob Zombie. He's an insanely talented guitarist, combining rock & country chicken pickin' to create some mad instumental music!

I read an interview with John 5 not too long ago and he said that when he is on tour he loves to go into local guitar shops and ask a guitar teacher to teach him anything. He just loves learning about the guitar. Doesn't matter what style, he just wants a lesson on something he isn't familiar with. Pretty cool stuff.

It's amazing how he did what he did with Manson and what he's doing with Zombie but in this vid he just rips that country pickin' out like nothing. Like him or not, he's one of the most versatile guitarists out there today and deserves all the credit he can get.
