So...I just got my Strat out of the pawnshop last week after about a month and a half.  (Which also explains my failure to participate in that big guitar.com collaborative project from about a month ago :P)  It's weird how quickly one's playing can deteriorate when not playing the guitar for a while.  That's exactly what I'm experiencing  right now.  The good news is that I'm trying to get back into playing shape by learning some good old Adrian Smith solos (albeit rather slowly).  My first attempt is his brilliant melodic solo from "The Longest Day", and it's moving along rather well considering the circumstances.  Once I get that down, I may just post a video of it on here.
