These are the best monitors I've ever heard! Even considering the problems I had getting them, (they're really popular,) I would have waited twice as long! When we first set them up in the studio, we put them against our old Event 20/20's. It was amazing. The 20/20's were specifically balanced for our control room. It seemed like the A7's balanced themselves! When we bench tested the two A7's responded exactly the same. A higher frequency response than most monitors, (35k,) means you will probably trim the high frequencies. Bass is solid and punchy. We still use our 20/20's for tracking, but the A7's can't be beat for critical listening.
