Solid spruce tops and quilted ash back and sides are combined with Hopi binding and fingerboard inlays and give this guitar the flavor of the Southwest United States. The cutaway version of this performance/stage model captures the spirit of the Southwest with a modern twist. The 12-string version offers an even fuller sound. The D46SCE12 now comes standard with the B-Band A3 preamp. An extremely thin and fast neck offers effortless playability.
What I Liked:
This is a great guitar, both for the price and overall.
The figured sides are gorgeous.
The inlays are not the usual design.
The neck spacing is wide and perfect and the action is good. The neck is thick and you can get a good grip on it for some finger work.
It sounds very good.
And it's got electronics (which is a plus for me, as I don't have the means to record with mics)
