Oh How The Mighty Have Fallen

In the late 1970's, there was a tsunami named Edward that took the planet to pieces and left the residual embers to smoke and falter. Many have tried to replicate his glory but were left to bow before El Nino. For those of you who don't habla Espanol, El Nino is Spanish for, well, The Nino!
So in closing...Put down the bottle, extinguish that cigarette fore it makes thou breath stinky, and play some new jive. It's your ingenuity that made you infamous. You smiled so big and pretty in the "Jump" video!

Love,

Calima
Percussive and overwhelming. This record is a bit of a stretch for Flamenco purists, but for those who stretch beyond the boundaries of convention will find this record beautiful and enlightening. His pistol shot rasgueados are nothing short of precision and perfection. This record, and his others, namely 'Andando El Tiempo' have greatly influenced my nylon and electric playing!

The Pleasure and the Greed
I don't care that this record has been out for a while, it's still one the best alternative metal records I've heard ever. So Ian Thornley sounds maybe too much like Chris Cornell for the two bands to share marketing dollars on the same label, but the dude rips. This record has a lot of ear candy to satisfy a vast audience of rock aficionados. Great syncopated passages, deceptive false starts, tear-ass vocal melodies, well thought out themes for the guitar (I refuse to call them riffs!), and clever use of percussion, banjo, mandolin, etc. A must have for the eclectic side of your collection.

Fender 51 Nocaster Relic Electric Guitar Honey Blonde
Definitely a life-style guitar. It's a wallet buster but worth the return in tone and cool. Why would I buy a relic-ed instrument? I guess two reasons...To find a seller willing to part with the real thing for less than balance of my Schwab fund is highly unlikely but more importantly the Fender Custom Shop is spot on accurate when it comes to antiquating hardware, mishap dings, thinning finish and pick wear in the pickup cases. Click through and read more.

D'Addario EJ46 Pro Arte Classical Silver/Clear Hard Acoustic Guitar Strings
I've tried a myriad of strings from just as many makers. The D'Addario Pro Arte Hard Tension are the strings I come back to time and time again for their consistency and tone that hold up to my busy playing schedule.
