Groups > Christian Bands > Cred for Christian Bands?

I have heard people say Christian artists are not as good as main stream artists and they only do Christian music becaust they couldn't make it in the main stream. I personally disagree, but what is your take?

What some do not know is that alot of artist who play Christian music at one time played secular music and made a great living at it. Something happens when a person lets the love of Christ into their hearts/ lives. As for me my playing is a tribute to the love of Christ and what He did that day on the cross and what He is currently doing inside and through me. My playing is an offering of thanks for the awsome gift the Lord has given me. Whoever says that those who play Christian music cannot make it in the secular music industry are misled. Those artist DO NOT DESIRE TO BE IN that arena. Further more maybe they should check out some Christopher Parkening(classical) or Phil Keaggy (c0ntemporary) or even a little Lincoln Brewster. Jimi Hendrix was quoted as saying that Phil Keaggy is the guitar player's guitar player. LOVE GOD- LOVE FAMILY-LOVE MUSIC!!!!!
