Any thoughts on this bad boy? Any considerations as to what the heck one would DO with such a weapon?

What do people do with an 11-stringed instrument (bass&guitar in one)?

It looks funny. Chubby...

Looks like it has an extra top string... Since ibanez uses 9s on the RGs, how thin is the extra top string? How far up can you tune a .008 string before it snaps?

Detuned 7strings have probably become cliche already... now they needed to offer something beyond that...

Well, it's all good. I think we could really start seeing some cool stuff out of 7 strings again; I mean, the cool thing is that people seem to use 'em in ways that aren't really expected or intended...

People have been playing guitars is odd and funny ways for well over a hundred years... What extra can a 7th or 8th string add to those ways other than the extra range? If you have any particular vids in mind, I'd be happy to view them!

IT scares me!!

Seriously, I just started playing 7 strings. And then they go and do something like this!! How the hell are you gonna wrap your hand around that?!?!?

Well, if you like thumbing the low string, you can start forgetting about that.

Some 6-string things are so much easier if your thumb can reach for the E-string. With a 7string, thumbing the E gets near impossible unless you got huge hands. With an 8string it's goodbye...
