hey i want a good sounding shred guitar next what should i get?

Definitely something with humbuckers. Maybe a Jackson.

ESP, Dean, Jackson, Ibenez, PRS are all good guitars for shredding. Try to get EMG, Duncan or Dimarzio humber on the bridge, active (with battery in guiter) is better for high gain amps, reduces buzz to nothing. I use EMG and replaced the duncan. I love them. I play a modified Jackson soloist (japan) and it has a floyd rose, ultimate for shredding.

get something that you can play easily, then use some pedals to get the right sound. but your number 1 priority should be looks:D (although some may disagre). if yoiur a master shredder, but your playing on some shity looking guitar, then your not getting the full "king of sred" feel.

If dont really care what the guy looks like, I am there to listen to him, and if anything look at his hands. Maybe some rings would spice up your shred sound. XD

I got a 1985 Gibson Explorer with a gibson trem, great great sound. Especially on full treb neck pickup.

I'd say get a Tele. They sound good, they look good, and no one ever expects a tele player to be able to play anything good so it looks awesome when they do. It works for Ritchie Kotzen
