My First Blog Ever

Hey, what's up? This happens to be my first blog ever.Okay, I'm not sure exactly what to put next, so maybe I should start talking about guitar. This is a site about guitars, is it not? Hmm... well, I have five guitars to begin with. One is a really cheap, crappy, horrible Wal-Mart brand guitar made by an obscure Chinese company in a dirty sweatshop outside of Shanghai. It was my first guitar, and I actually still play it. Its strings even stay on the nut! I have two Johnson brand guitars, and Johnson just makes copies of Stratocasters and Les Pauls. One is acoustic (a good one), and one is electric. The electric has been with me for about 2 and a half years now, and it's been so amazing that no strings have broken (ever) and it's never been badly beaten at all. My next guitar is a Johnson Bass, probably a copy of a Fender bass. I only use it for concert band at school, and occasionally play it at home. It can take a huge beating, and survived several drops from over two feet in the air with relatively no marks. My latest guitar is a Dillion brand Brian May specialty model from Canada, eh? It's pretty much a replica of Brian May's (from Queen) red special. I've had that one for about six months. It's a pretty good guitar, but it can only stay in standard tuning.
Well, that's about my guitars. I may as well tell you that my musical interests range from Avant-Garde to Zulu Folk Metal. I've got everything from Bluegrass to Death Metal on my iPod. My favorite genre of all time, though, has to be prog rock or metal or whatever. Dream Theater, Fates Warning, King Crimson, Yes, Pink Floyd, Rush, Coheed and Cambria, Mastodon, and Meshuggah are all bands that I like that fall into that category.
As for what I play, I play whatever I happen to be into at the time. I have a band that likes to play hard rock, metal, stuff like that, but we really need to get way better to play the songs we want to play. We're currently stuck playing AC/DC covers to get some more songs under our belt, but someday I hope we'll be playing the metal and prog stuff we've always wanted to play. We've got some time.
Why I've chosen the name Boondar, no one knows or really even cares, but since it's so annoying you'll be disheartened to know that I will be on the fourms sometimes, willing to lend a hand to topics that need good opinions.
