This pedal has only one sound... but i love it. This pedal much like the big muff it is an electro harmonix classic that gives you one sound but the best sound ever. A lot of people might complain "awwwww but i can't change enough... waaaaaaaaaaaaa" well really why would you want to it alredy sounds great. The sound it kind of has a very creamy yet very clean sweep that at the climax at each end high and low it pours on the loving an pulls it off very nicely. There is a color setting on the pedal that is a two way switch it realy controls a "space" sort of wider more intense phase compared to an less noticable phase ,but alot of people never bother with it. For me the color setting actualy comes in handy because sometimes I want to phase but not so hardcore i turn color off i get a great tasty like dryish phase that I can't get enough of. Also unlike its russian counter part it has a wall wart power plug in.
There are a couple of downsides though one it is not true bypass just like every thing electro harmonix dose. If this is not the exact sound you want do not get it it can only produce one sound. For me it is a must have
