 My music recommendations
A forward thinking album from Miles Davis alumni John McLaughlin. The interaction between the traditional Indian rhythm section (Zakir Hussein - Tabla, L. Shankar - Violin, R. Raghavan - Mridingam, T.S Vinayakaram - Ghatam) is comparable to that of a jazz performance, giving a hint to the future of Jazz Improvisation.
Louder, faster and just as innovative as Birds of Fire. Great drumming from Billy Cobham by the way.
Great drummer, guitar players should try to do with five fingers what this guy can do with four limbs.
