The Schecter HellRaiser C-7 FR, is a killer guitar, just like the Ibanez 7 string S7321 I owned was also ( but i gave the Ibanez to My one son on His 18th Birthday, and will get annother one again one day for Myself ),
The HellRaiser C-7, has a cool image, look, feel, and craftsmanship, indeed!!!!!
But it is also a killer guitar, which plays great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it also has killer electronics, including push-pull pots, for split coil or dual coil selection, combinations: So one can get a Strat type single coil sound, which is thinner, or a Dual Coil humbucker sound, with it's active < battery powered> EMG 707TW pickups!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a Great Guitar, which I would highly recomend as a Primary 7 String guitar!!!!
I have the Red HellRaiser, and it's look and craftsmanship is superb!!!!!! 
But as a primary 7 String, or to compliment an Ibanez 7 as well, it is a killer guitar, and, in My opinion, a new Classic as well:
I have owned Les Paul Customs, etc.., in the past, as well as My current ESP LTD M100, and know the difference between thin and thick necks, as well as narrow and wide < like My Ibanez 8 string RG2228GK >, and understand the value of different neck sizes in ones guitar collection, as they all have their advantages.
Many guitar players find, for them, that a thicker neck, for a given width, helps them with "Sweep picking" arpeggios, etc.., ---and while true some people hate thicker necks, this is their reson, for the unfair way they choose to rate the HellRaiser C-7, because they only like thin necks --which is not a fair criticism for everyone, and not fair for me, either, or I would not own one in the first place!!!!
