 I like popular stuff mostly...
i will always listen to anything, but most death metal and all out screamo stuff i cant stand, music is all about expression and oppinion, but come on, if you cant understand the lyrics, or if the vocalists voice box sounds like hes putting it through a meat grinder how does that sound good?
I was raised on classic Metallica and Megadeth
Currently my favorite band is probably Coheed & Cambria, they do so much with their music, and none of their albums are the same shit over and over again, and The Amory Wars a great comic book.(the story CoCa's music tells)
Linkin park got me into music, i listen to alot of stuff, post hardcore stuff, Bullet for my valentine, Atreyu, Silverstien, i listen to fall out boy, and im proud to say i own all of their albums, so haters can shove it, like i said music is expression, there are just certain emotions you dont care to listen to and thats why you dont like them, i like progressive stuff too, Fall of Troy, Dream theater, circa survive anything thats different, i like in flames Newest CD (A Sense of purpose) i just bought it today, but like i said, i cant stand the vocals to most death metal stuff, i like the more clean meaningful emotional lyrics, or punk themed stuff, i just dont see much point to anything else, the music is what matters anyway so what if it all says the same thing, spice it up and it will be different to me, show intellegence in your writing process, and ill probably listen.
