Now, for the next installment of the psychoblog....I am getting so much better with my playing.  I practice everyday for at least a half an hour, and my chord changes are starting to get smoother.  I can actually play kind of fast.  I'm also working on my playing rhythm, so it sounds like maybe I'm actually playing a song.  I've also learned a few melodies that I can pick out with some small amount of speed.  Just some that I've made up or heard and played by ear.  Mostly nursery rhymes for my toddler.  I feel pretty good about my progress.  I do need to work on my barred chords.  I can't get it to sound right when I play them.  I know that it's better to press down closer to the fret bar, and to push really hard, but I just can't seem to get all the strings to ring true.  Any pointers would be helpful, otherwise I'm going to be navigating the learning blindly.
 
So, I'm moving into my new house in a week and a half.  How exciting!!!!  It's my first purchased home, so I'm pretty hyped about it.
 
Oh, and if you haven't seen "Hitman", go see it.  It freaking rocks.  I want to be a hit-lady and go covert on a mother.  And that guy who plays the hitman is a hot piece of sexiness with the bald head and big guns.  Yum....
