Yes is of a rare breed. This is a band that didn't only focus on one extremely talented member, but was a band that had every single member on a level of playing that was near of of the virtuoso level. Guitarist Steve Howe always was overlooked, but his guitar playing has stood the test of time, especially on this album, as a master of both electric and classical guitar. Bassist Chris Squire arranged a whole bass solo around one riff and makes it sound extremely good. Keyboardist Rick Wakeman is truly the greatest keyboardist who ever lived, and drummer Bill Bruford's jazz drumming is a tremendous backbeat to the great songs like "Roundabout", a live staple of Yes performances, "Long Distance Runaround", and "South Side of the Sky", all being very long. Like said before, the album has many tracks that show off each member's talent, even singer Jon Anderson has a solo track oddly enough. If you have the CD with bonus tracks, you also get one of the many renditions of the song "America" that Yes has done as well. It's a good buy for any prog-rock fan.
