sick idea came out really well. they took samples from songs from the years that the tracks were named after. slow train, a man like me, and the shouty track are all sick ones. check it
This album is really called "Pocket Symphonies for Lonesome Subway Cars" by Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. Probably the most depressing title i have ever heard. However this album has its high and low points. The sound of the solo casiotone doesn't really appeal to me, although it might be perfect for YOU. That's right, YOU. The lyrics aren't really the greatest thing I have ever heard either, but I do like the album overall. Just the concept, not to mention some of the songs are pretty cool, like "Oh, Illinois", "Number Ten", and "We Have Mice." Also, I don't know what album it's on, but "Toby, Take a Bow" is probably my favorite Casiotone song.
this is a great album, one of my personal favorites. the songs on this whole cd are just so inspired/inspiring. the way his mind works is just intense. "Balloon" is a sick track along with "Puddle", not to mention that the lyrics and guitar on "Faster" are just freakin awesome. joey is an amazing artist all around and needs more attention than he gets as a musician. INVEST!
Sick album...despite having maybe one or two tracks that I don't approve of. Definitely an inspired album though. Sick licks, usually pretty good lyrics. Just plain babacool. The single "Airport Motels" delivers a good idea of the band. "Weak Spot" and "Away From Home" are really great tracks as well though. Check it out, it's not for everybody, but if you're like me then you'll like it. It's very technical and intensely hard to figure out by ear. I can't even get close.
 More wild progressions
Check it.  This is one hell of a ride if you play it nicely.  Treat it like a pretty girl who you're about to take on an expensive date.  The kind that you don't just throw back on the street when you're done.  The kind you treat nice.  Like a cool progression. ....
