Framus has announced that Alice In Chains co-frontman William DuVall’s signature Talisman guitar will be made available as a D-Series model from June 2020, in addition to the Custom Shop Masterbuilt and Teambuilt German Pro Series models.

The D-series version of the guitar will come with a mahogany body finished in black high-polish, a set 22-fret mahogany neck, a tigerstripe ebony fretboard with a 12” radius, dot inlays and a graphite nut. Hardware-wise, the guitar is string-through, and comes with Framus machine heads and Warwick S-Security locks. The guitar clocks in at a 24.75-inch scale length.

The D-Series Talisman is available in a HH configuration, with either a Framus 100 in the neck and Framus 400 in bridge, or a Seymour Duncan SH-1n in the neck and Seymour Duncan SH-4b in the bridge. There are volume and tone controls for each pickup, as well as a three-way selector switch.

Framus D-Series guitars are manufactured in China, before undergoing two final inspections: one in China and then one in Germany.

The Framus D-Series Artist Line William DuVall Talisman lists for $799.99 with Framus pickups, or $1,149.00 with Seymour Duncan pickups.

The guitar will be available from mid-June 2020. More information at framus.de.
