Dropkick Murphys have shared their latest single, entitled Mick Jones Nicked My Pudding. Take a listen below.

The track made its debut last month, during the band’s live-streamed St Patrick’s Day gig. Following on from this live debut, the band pushed forward its studio-version release, which was recorded shortly before the coronavirus lockdown measures came into full effect.

The song, as its title hints at, is based on the time the Clash’s Mick Jones stole a dessert from a recording studio fridge. Perhaps not as dramatic as Paul Simonon smashing a bass guitar apart on stage, but the results are as punk as you’d expect from Dropkick Murphys.
