Former Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward has released a new song with the Bill Ward Band, entitled Arrows. The song pays tribute to the victims of the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting, in which 58 people were killed, and hundreds more injured. The song was released two years after the tragedy.

Ward gave a personal video statement on Twitter to accompany the song’s release. “To me, it’s kind of like laying a wreath and sending the very best to everybody and wishing everybody well,” he said. “It’s just a way of saying we’re very sorry that all those things happened and that we honour those who are not with us today.”

Ward was joined by guitarist Keith Lynch, drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake / Foreigner / Ozzy Osbourne) and bassist James LoMenzo (Black Label Society) on the song, with vocal performances from Ezra Ward and Sarah Dugas.
