A short history of me

If anyones really cares, I began playing bass when I was in 5th grade (I'm 48 now). For some God knows what reason my mom and dad bought me a knock-off Hofner violin bass with amp ad even forked out for lessons (Sloopy was my first song ). I've played in bands, most of which went absolutely nowhere...The Kids, Iron Cross (DC), Stick Man, Santoria, and some others. I finally just stopped as I got tired of the BS and internal band strife. Today I play bass and 6 string and encourage my 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter to play. I also work with my wife and and some other musicians on an after school rock program for kids (they learn an instrument, a song/songs, play a gig for the school, and get a CD of themselves along with a band t-shirt). Oh...2 years ago I had legal name change from John Dunn to my current just for the hell of it and due to ethnic Scottish reasons (what can I say...I'm a nut I guess).
