Although I am listed as an aucoustic player, I also play electric guitar. I hate when you play six-string chords on electric guitar and it just completely clashes the sound. It gives me a headache to say the least. Although, if you play them slowly, it sounds okay. Of course, the better the amp, the less this happens. This is because of an amp overload. It works the same as hooking two instruments(say Guitar and Bass) to the same amp. If you have this sort of problem it is most likely a poor amp. You either buy your self a new, more powrful amp, or use chord alternatives such as power chords and arpeggios.
