 My music recommendations
The purists will swear that the Pumpkins did it right on this album. While I would tend to agree with this, I love all of the Pumpkins albums. This one just happens to have a little extra special meaning for me because of the memories tied to it. Every song on this album has the potential for being one of those, "he's saying exactly what I feel"-type of songs. There really is something here for everyone.
Move over, Manson, glam rock has taken a turn... for the better. The Boys from Berkley bring the noise (and a little mascara) into your living room. Notable tracks include the 80s-tinged "Love Like Winter," and the rock anthem "Miss Murder".
As emotional as Jonathan Davis usually gets, he's even more pained and sarcastic this time around. Korn really came through here, showing that not only were they not suffering from the dreaded "sophomore slump," but also that a hard rock act of their caliber could make it in the more reformed and refined area of the business. This album was nominated for a few grammys!
An amazing album from Incubus. Typically, it's rare that I actually am able to enjoy more than just one or two tracks from any one album by any artist. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is definitely enjoyable from first to last; the track-skip buttons are definitely not needed.
