Oh my God.
I checked out Robin Trower's (formerly of Procol Harum) solo discography on a whim after reading about him from a recent Guitar World issue where Paul Gilbert interviewed the man. He seemed like a nice bloke and all, very spiritual and experienced bluesman.
But oh my God can he play.
I started with the album 20th Century Blues, and I must say I haven't been floored by someone's guitar playing ever since I first popped my first Stevie Ray Vaughan CD in my stereo.
I don't care what genre of music you think you play: if you appreciate great guitar music--nay, awesome music, you have to listen to the guy.
