Ozzy's debute album as a solo artist featuring the legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads. Although quite less on the progressive side it still has that same Ozzy/Randy-feel that marks their shortlived career together. For all the guitarists this album offers incredible soloing by Randy Rhoads and the beautiful classical acoustic composition "Dee". The album has some of the most renowned musicians in other instruments as well who perform really well. The songs are good with catchy riffs and nice variations. All in all a nice piece of music for the fans of the 80's heavy scene. Rating (4-10): Musicianship 9 Songwriting 8 Sound Quality 8 Guitar solo's 9
This is one of the all-time greatest albums I've heard. It has all the elements one could expect in a great album and some nice progressive elements which I find to be way more obvious in this album than any other Ozzy album. Of course, Randy Rhoads plays on this album so for me that's a definite plus, and all the other guys perform really well too.
