The Pretty Reckless Break Stevie Nicks Chart Record

Remember Cindy Lou Who? The once-child-actress turned hard rockin’ frontwoman has scored her third consecutive No. 1 single on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts this week, breaking a record once held by Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks, and more recently by Lzzy Hale and Halestorm, for most consecutive No. 1 singles by a female artist or female-fronted band.

Congrats to lead singer Taylor Momsen -- who once played the little girl in the Jim Carrey version of Dr. Seuss’s “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” -- and her band, The Pretty Reckless. Their single “Follow Me Down” follows their other No. 1 hits, “Heaven Knows,” and “Messed Up World.” All three hit singles are from the band’s 2014 release, Going To Hell.

Momsen and crew are on tour now with Lzzy Hale and Halestorm.
