TC Electronic teases new Toneprint Pedalboard

In a cryptic Facebook post, TC Electronic has hinted at the introduction of a new Toneprint Pedalboard.

The image, captioned simply “We’re just going to leave this here…”, depicts a footswitch, presumably the fifth in a bank of five. Above the switch, what looks to be an OLED screen reads “Hall Of Fame 2 Reverb”.

TC Electronic has responded to a few speculative comments, saying that we shouldn’t “think of it as a multi-FX”, and that it is a “different thing” to the G-System, the manufacturer’s previous foray into this genre of effects pedals. See the full post here:

More information on the exact workings of this unit is yet to come – as TC Electronic says, “More on that later…” But for now, we can be sure that a unit with a display, programmable using the Toneprint system, is in the works.
