Aquaman and Game Of Thrones star Jason Momoa recently visited Primus’ Les Claypool’s Winery, and on his visit got a lesson in how to play the band’s song My Name Is Mud.
In a video posted to Primus’ Instagram, Claypool can be seen explaining the intricacies of his notoriously complicated bass part to Momoa – before Momoa turns to the cameraperson and says: “You get that shit in slow-mo? Shoot that shit in slow-mo. I need this in my life.”
Another video showed the pair jamming together, with Momoa on bass and Claypool on drums. “@prideofgypsies came out to visit and we had ourselves a grand ol’ time,” the musician captioned the above Instagram post, which also included a photo of the duo in a boat and outside with bass guitars.
Last year, Momoa spoke of his passion for playing music, telling MTV News that he just wants “to grow old, and learn the blues,” during an interview taking place in New York’s Rivington Guitars.
