Watch Korn’s unsettling video for Can You Hear Me
The clip is also the trailer for the nu-metal group’s new podcast, The Nothing.
Korn has released a new single, Can You Hear Me, and an accompanying music video. The song is the latest track from the band’s forthcoming LP, The Nothing, which also features the recently released songs You’ll Never Find Me and Cold.
The clip opens with an unnerving warning: “It’s time people. Wake the fuck up.” A thumping guitar riff then kicks in before singer Jonathan Davis’ unmistakable voice soars over the production.
Can You Hear Me’s visual also doubles up as a trailer for Korn’s upcoming podcast, which is also titled The Nothing. The six-part podcast series is a fictional narrative following the adventures of Matt Singer, a journalist who’s tasked with investigating a teenage girl’s disappearance from a small town in Kansas.
The podcast was jointly created with Adam Mason and Simon Boyes – who have worked on a number of spooky flicks – and will hit major streaming platforms this October.
Meanwhile, Korn’s upcoming LP, The Nothing, arrives on 13 September.
